Important Messages from the Office

A Message from Region of Waterloo Public Health

Public Health will be enforcing the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) during the 2024-25 school year. ISPA is an Ontario law that requires certain vaccines to be given for a child to attend school, making sure that all school-aged children are protected from vaccine preventable diseases.

Parent(s)/ Guardian(s) are responsible for reporting their child’s vaccine records or submitting a valid medical or non-medical vaccine exemption to Public Health. Your health care provider does not submit records for you.

If you receive a letter from Public Health indicating that your child has no vaccine record or incomplete vaccine records on file with Public Health, please visit www.regionofwaterloo.ca/vaccines.

Here you can:

– Access more information about ISPA

– Request or report vaccine records

– Submit vaccine exemption forms

– Book vaccine appointments

School Photos

Individual photo proofs from our Photo Day were sent home last week. Please note that if you would like to purchase school photos, you must follow the instructions included in your photo proof package and submit orders online by Monday, November 11, 2024.

If your child missed their photo and/or you would like a retake, our retake day will be Wednesday, November 20.

Coronation’s Remembrance Day Assembly

Coronation will be having an assembly on Monday, November 11th in recognition of Remembrance Day. Our assembly will begin shortly after 9:15 AM and run for approximately 45 minutes.

We welcome our Cool Cat Families to join us for this important assembly.

To ensure a smooth start to our assembly, family members wishing to attend will be welcomed into the school between 9:00 – 9:15 AM on Monday morning. We ask family members to wait until 9:00 AM to allow our safe entry routine to occur. At 9:00 AM we will open our front doors, invite visitors to sign in and make their way down to our gym. Just prior to 9:15, classes will be called to join us at the gym.

Our chocolate bar fundraiser has finished. Thank you so much to our Coronation community for supporting this fundraiser. We have drawn for and awarded 24 Early Bird prizes. Perhaps you saw a Gnome make its way home with your child.

Tomorrow, we will be awarding our top Earners Prizes. Our top prize includes 2 adult and 2 child passes including admission, popcorn and beverages to Cineplex Theatres as well as some sweet treats. Our 2nd and 3rd place prizes are an Arts and Craft supplies basket and a Sensory Tools basket.
