Dear Cool Cat Families,

We have a short but exciting week ahead at Coronation, with many events and activities planned! Please take a moment to review the important information in this message—especially details about our STEMovation event and how we’re preparing for the possibility of rainy weather.

A reminder that Friday is a PD Day and there will be no school for students.

We’re also looking forward to Coronation “This is ME” Spirit Day (dress to represent your background, your special interest or future aspiration) on Thursday, which will include our monthly assembly and PAWS Awards. It’s a great chance to celebrate the respectful, responsible choices our Cool Cats have made this month!

Messages from the Office

STEMovation – Wednesday, May 28 | 3:30 – 5:30 PM

Get ready for an afternoon of discovery and fun at STEMovation, open to all current and future Cool Cat families! This free event will feature hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math, along with creative challenges for all ages. Enjoy free cheese pizza from Domino’s, drinks, exciting family take-aways, and engaging learning stations. In case of rain, the event will be held indoors in our gym and junior hallway areas. Please use the Gym or Junior side entrances (closest to Eagle Street and the Kinsman Centre).

Welcome to Kindergarten – Wednesday, May 28 | 5:45 – 7:00 PM

Following STEMovation, we invite families of children registered for Kindergarten in September 2025 to join us inside the school for our Welcome to Kindergarten event. This is a great opportunity to explore the space, meet our staff, and get to know what to expect as your child becomes one of our newest Cool Cats!

Please enter through the front main doors.

We encourage our new families to come early and enjoy STEMovation before the Kindergarten session begins!

We’re excited to welcome several of our valued community partners who will be joining us on Wednesday. Be sure to visit their tables to learn more about the supports and services available to Coronation families:

  • Grades 4, 5, and 6 students may borrow 2 books

Starting June 2:

Sunscreen Reminder

As the weather gets warmer, we encourage families to apply sunscreen to their child before school each day.
