Update at 10:15 am: Waterloo Regional Police have lifted the hold and secure at both Coronation and William G Davis Public Schools.

Please be advised that a hold and secure has been issued by the Waterloo Regional Police Service for Coronation and William G Davis Public Schools. No one is allowed to enter or exit the building while the school is in a hold and secure. All students and staff are safe inside the school.

We ask that parents and caregivers of Coronation and William G Davis students refrain from calling the school during a hold and secure as our staff’s main priority is to keep our students and staff safe. We will update this web post, Twitter and Facebook as more details become available.
