• We strive to use equitable and trauma informed practices in all that we do and put our students first by transforming our systems, structures, physical environments and practices to ensure success for ALL.
• We celebrate the gifts of each and every student by creating limitless opportunities for them to flourish, grow and become their best selves.
• We create learning environments where all students excel and become skilled, caring, compassionate, global citizens.
• We set high expectations for our students and ourselves

Next Steps in Support of Literacy:

• Identify and address learning gaps in Literacy in all grades
• Utilize the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Tiered Instruction to address learning gaps
• Continue to build educator capacity of  structured literacy instruction
• Continue to develop foundational literacy knowledge and skills to be effective readers

Next Steps in Support of Numeracy:

• Identify and address learning gaps in Math in all grades
• Continue to develop foundational knowledge of the Essential Key Concepts in Mathematics
• Utilize the WRDSB Tiered Support Model & High-Impact Instructional Strategies to address learning gaps
• Continue to build educator capacity of  Small Group instruction

Next Steps in Support of School and Community Culture:

• Maintain high expectations for all
• Maintain the welcoming, collaborative and supportive culture amongst staff
• Foster an environment where staff and students feel a sense of connection and belonging
• Become a community hub and safe space for all families
• Offer a variety of extra curricular and/or leadership opportunities for students in 1-6s
