Hello Coronation Families,

We are reaching out today because we need your help! At Coronation, we strive to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and included. To do this effectively, we rely on the data provided by the WRDSB Student Census.

Currently, our school’s response rate is quite low. We want to ensure that the diverse voices of our Kindergarten to Grade 3 families are fully represented, as this data helps us identify gaps, improve our programming, and better support student well-being.

Important Information for Participation

  • For Grades 4–6: Students in these grades have already completed the census during class time, unless they were previously opted out by a parent or guardian.
  • For Kindergarten–Grade 3: Because our younger students are not yet ready to complete the survey themselves, we ask that parents/guardians complete it on their behalf.

How to access the Census:

1. Check your inbox: Search your email for a message from the WRDSB sent earlier in March (and follow-up reminders sent more recently).

2. Use your unique link: Each family was sent a specific link tied to their child’s student record.

3. The Deadline: The window to participate remains open for a short time, and every response helps us gain a clearer picture of our school community.

If you have any questions or require support accessing the census, whether you are having trouble finding the link or need assistance with the form itself, please do not hesitate to reach out to me, Principal Baer, directly. I am here to help ensure your voice is included.

Thank you for taking the time to help us make Coronation the best it can be for all our students.
