November 1st, 2026
Happy Sunday Coronation Families,
Our clocks have gone back an hour and I don’t know about you, but it makes me feel like we are that much closer to winter.
I hope that everyone that celebrated Halloween yesterday had a safe and fun evening. With Halloween behind us, we know many of our students are excited to enjoy their treats!
We kindly ask families to limit the amount of Halloween candy coming to school in lunches and snacks over the coming days.
While a little sweetness is certainly okay, too much sugar can impact students’ energy levels, concentration and readiness to learn. At school, we will continue to encourage students to eat their nutritious foods first, helping them stay fueled and focused throughout the day.
We had a great Spirit Assembly on Friday. We had great performances from classes. Ms Jetter’s 2/3 class started us off with a video of their class’ version of our Territorial Acknowledgement.
Mme Mehan and Ms Jetter’s class, accompanied by puppets, also shared a video performance of the song “Common ca va?”.
Mme Greenwood shared a video of Ms Jetter’s class performing a cup rhythm routine to the The Addams Family song and Ms Berry’s class performing a cup rhythm routine to the song The Monster Mash.
Our final performance was a thrilling performance of a movement/rhythm routine to the song Thriller.
Our students continue to impress with their skills, but also their respectful and responsible assembly audience behaviour! We are so proud of them!
